How we review reports
We first identify the type and consequence of the claim. We then compare it with the strongest relevant source, which may include a controlled product document, standard, primary technical source, or approved project record. Where needed, we ask the relevant product, application, or commercial function to clarify the evidence.
We prioritize issues that may affect safety, model identification, payload or reach interpretation, product configuration, compliance, application suitability, or a significant purchasing decision. We do not promise a fixed response time, because verification time depends on the evidence and technical scope.
Correction levels
Minor edits
Spelling, grammar, formatting, broken links, or clarifications that do not change the meaning may be corrected without a separate notice. The page’s updated date may still change when the edit is useful to readers.
Material corrections
A change is material when it alters the meaning, conclusion, model specification, application boundary, or decision-relevant interpretation. Material changes receive a visible “Corrected” or “Updated” notice on the affected page. The notice identifies what changed and, when useful, the reason for the change.
Replacement or withdrawal
If a page cannot be corrected reliably, is based on invalid evidence, or may create a consequential misunderstanding, we may replace it, remove it from normal navigation, or withdraw it. When practical, the original URL will explain what happened and point readers to the corrected resource.
Product data changes are not always errors
Specifications, configurations, availability, and documentation can change over time. When previously accurate information is superseded, we update the page and label the change according to its impact. Transparency and records
